Leading life safety manufacturer Hochiki has appointed Hemanth Kumar as General Manager for their Middle East and India operations reaffirming investment in their people is an investment in their customers.
Hemanth is a welcome addition to the teams bringing with him a wealth of experience, having worked across multiple Middle East nations as well as India as a fire protection professional.
Starting his career working on life safety projects in refineries and petrochemicals in India in 1992 and subsequently moving to Saudi Arabia in 1995, Hemanth worked across multiple fire protection projects until the end of 2002, then moved to United Arab Emirates at the beginning of 2003. Here he worked for different fire protection solution providers in commercial and industrial sectors such as Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power and similar, building strong partnerships with distributors, contractors, consultants, and end users.
Understanding the driving demand in both regions to improve fire safety by government and business, Hemanth is fully aware of codes and standards across multiple sectors and is looking forward to helping Hochiki customers in the regions to improve their fire detection strategies.

Commenting on the appointment, Sales and Marketing Director Nathan Hudson said:
“Hemanth will be taking on the dual leadership and management of the Hochiki teams based in the Middle East and India. He comes to us with a wealth of industry experience in both regions, most recently working as a senior manager for Dafoos”.
Following an induction in the UK, Hemanth will be splitting his time between Dubai and the New Delhi offices to manage both teams and meet with customers.
