SCI Sensor Range
Hochiki’s Short Circuit Isolator Sensors
The ESP range includes 3 SCI variants; the ATJ-EN(SCI) addressable heat sensor; the ALN-EN(SCI) addressable smoke sensor and the ACC-EN(SCI) addressable multi-sensor. The sensors incorporate the same great features as the standard models, but with the added benefit of an integrated SCI.
Our SCI sensors has a whole host of features and benefits, making it the ideal solution for a variety of environments.
False Alarm Reduction
Driven with world proven, open protocol system. The high performance chamber allows for adjustable sensitivity settings.
Fully Compliant
Compliant to world recognised standards such as LPCB
and VdS.
Premium Quality
Hochiki endeavours to create high quality products to ensure long term reliability and performance.
Approvals
Each device is approved by LPCB to the relevant parts of EN 54.
LED Status Indicator
Each device has an LED status indicator which will illuminate green when polling, amber when isolating and red when in alarm. This helps to quickly identify short circuits.
Data Integrity
ESP protocol minimises the possibility of data corruption using a proven combination of algorithms and applies parity and checksum principles to every packet of data.
System Tailoring
Advanced controls within the ESP products include variable volumes and tones that allow systems to be tailored to achieve optimum performance.
Unique-ID
Each ESP device has a unique type code. This allows the system to recognise what device type the alarm has been generated from. The ESP protocol can support 240 different type codes.
The SCI variants are backwards compatible, but in order to provide the SCI functionally, the SCI sensors must be fitted directly onto the new YBV-R/4 base. For further information on base and sensor compatibility, download our Application Note 144 found in the resources section below.
